It is been said that police fired teargas yesterday Wednesday in Kisumu, a stronghold of opposition leader Rails Odinga shortly after he claimed massive fraud in yesterday's election.
As they burn tyres in the street of Western Kenyan City, about 100 supporters of Odinga chanted "No Rails, no peace"
Odinga had earlier urged supporters to be calm, he also said " I don't control the people"
Kalonzo Musyoka, his chosen deputy has also called for the people to be calm but also said opposition might call for unspecified action later.
As at 03:00 GMT, on the election commission website President Uhuru Kenyatta has been put in front. He had 55.1% of votes already counter to 44% of Odinga ( A margin of nearly 1.4M ballots) with over 80% of polling stations reported.
